With your rental, you’ll receive a waterproof GoPro Hero 5 camera, a 3-in-1 mount with camera grip, extension arm, and tripod, along with a 32 GB memory card that you can purchase after use to keep your #CentralCoasting memories alive forever. During your stay, check out some of the sights below which would make the perfect backdrop to your vacation shots!

Cave Landing/Pirate’s Cove

Nestled between Avila Beach and Shell Beach, you’ll discover a clothing-optional beach tucked along the bluffs called Pirate’s Cove. The area surrounding Pirate’s Cove is home to many hidden sea caves, including Pirate’s Cave, so the bluff has been named Cave Landing. You can access the beach and caves by walking along the trails near the main parking area at the end of Cave Landing Road which branches off Avila Beach Drive. There are two amazing rock formations to view while you’re there: Pirate’s Cave and the hidden arch. When you bring the GoPro along, you’ll be able to get your entire group and the entire cave in one shot!

Montaña de Oro State Park

The abundance of trails that wind through the bluffs of Montaña de Oro State Park offer bicyclists, hikers, and equestrians varied terrain with beautiful ocean and canyon views. Mountain biking with your GoPro attached to your bike or helmet can result in some amazing photography. If you’re looking for beginners trails, try the Bluff Trail, Islay Creek Road, or Hazard Canyon Road. For something a little more advanced, opt for Hazard Peak, Oats Peak trail, or the Ridge trail.

The Oceano Dunes

Pismo Beach is located right next to the finest, most extensive coastal dunes remaining in California. These wave-like crests of sand are seemingly endless, providing visitors the perfect place to enjoy off-road adventures on ATV’s, dirt bikes, sand buggies, or even their own car! Capturing the expansive beauty of the Oceano Dunes is easy with a GoPro, so get out there and ride!
