About Jack Creek Farms
Tucked away in the coastal foothills just west of Paso Robles and Templeton along Highway 46, you’ll find the small, 5th generation family farm known as Jack Creek Farms. Stepping out of your car and onto their property, you’ll be transported to simpler times of the past, as you stroll past antique farm equipment while picking sunflowers, fresh olallieberries, ripe tomatoes, and of course—pumpkins, straight from the sun-kissed vines. Since the 1890’s (before Highway 46 even existed), the Barlogio family has been tending to the land and raking in the longtime support of locals and visitors of the Central Coast, well known for their beloved and impressive yearly pumpkin harvest in the fall.
Today, Jack Creek Farms is home to almost 600 fruit trees, over 40 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, 60 varieties of pumpkins, 40 varieties of baking winter squash, and of course, honey! Honey, the Way Bees Made It
Jack Creek Farms is the perfect place to discover how delicious raw, natural honey can bee. The farm offers several different varieties of honey to sample, like toyon, yellow star thistle, wildflower, wild buckwheat, apple blossom, pomegranate, orange blossom, coastal sage, black button sage, safflower, raspberry, cotton, avocado, comb honey, and more (depending on the season). Each of these unique flavors is 100% natural—flavored solely from whatever the bees are pollinating. No infusions, flavors, syrups, or additives here, just simple honey, the way the bees made it in the hive.
All of the honey at Jack Creek Farms is either locally sourced or harvested from the hives right from their own property! Honey tastings are free and questions are always welcomed, so enjoy a scenic drive to the family farm and get tasting.
Get a Taste at The Steakhouse
If you can’t make it out to the farm, don’t worry! You can try Jack Creek Farms honey all July long at The Steakhouse for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or at the bar!
